Wow. Ok. So the last time I "blogged" was perhaps in the eighth grade, back before blogging was even known as blogging with the wonderfully inventive site, Xanga. Xanga provided us prepubescent teens a way to air all of our melodramatic teenage angst out for the world to see. It amazes me how much drama our lives were filled with at that age, granted big problems were if they guy next to us in math class "liked" us or "like liked" us, if we had enough minutes on our cell phone (back when we actually talked on cell phones).....it seems ridiculous looking back now to even classify our "problems" back then as problems. But I guess if we weren't able to find ways to make it through those problems, we would have never been able to face the problems that come with going up and becoming an adult.
I'm not exactly sure what I will be writing about...maybe my journey through and possible embracement of being single, my first summer without a full time job (don't expect much exciting news to come from that though!), beginning my senior year at THE Ohio State University, and perhaps finding my answer to every college senior's million dollar question--"So, what are you doing after you graduate?".
One note about having so much free time in the summer is that it has given me a chance to get back into something I love and used to do all the time, read. The public library has become my new best friend and I'm flying through books at an alarming pace. I'm currently reading "The 10th Circle" by Jodi Picoult (which surprisingly, I believe I watched awhile ago in Lifetime movie form)...regardless, a wonderful read that has raised some interesting and thought provoking points, that I have perhaps taken more to heart in light of my experiences of late.
